Regina Liu

Piano Professor

I have a profound wealth of knowledge in music composition and a lifetime of practice playing the piano. I have studied under various tutelages descending from classical pianists including Vladimir Horowitz and Leon Fleisher. I have been committed to the study of balanced and scientific playing techniques and methods. As well as having trained academically under the Taubman system, Alexander system, etc.

I have been the judge of prestigious international piano competitions. I am the liaison officer in China for The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music as well as having prepared various students myself for their qualifications. I have also been the liaison officer for other schools including the Historique de l'Ecole Normale de Musique, Julliard, and the Curtis Institute of Music.

I have trained a large number of piano artists and piano teachers and have garnered selected awards for cultivating young performers including:

First place and outstanding performance award in the grand final of the Hong Kong Asian piano open.
Second place in the children's group of Asian junior piano open.
"World Prize for Peace" the first prize in the children's section of American international piano competition.
