Leon Xiao

Leon Xiao is a passionate pianist dedicated to sharing music by collaborating with other musicians. His international performing career includes recitals in Wuhan, Liaoning, Shanghai, and San Francisco. He also performs regularly with the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Chorus and the California Symphony, and was most recently awarded Gold prize in the Asia International Piano Grand Prix-Macau 2021. 

In addition to performing, Xiao has experience teaching young students, especially teenagers, and takes a thoughtful, patient, and engaging approach. He tailors each lesson to fit the student’s needs and goals, creating a supportive environment for musical growth. Currently, he is pursuing a Bachelor of Music at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, studying with Professor Corey McVicar, and aspires to a future career in music therapy.
