Inessa Zagorov

Inessa Zagorov is a dedicated and accomplished piano teacher and musicologist with over 30 years of experience teaching piano and music theory. With a strong foundation in both European classical traditions and American pedagogical methods, she offers a rich, well-rounded musical education to students of all levels.

Inessa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance and a Master’s degree in Musicology. Her teaching combines the rigor and depth of classical European instruction with the flexibility and creativity of American approaches, providing her students with both technical mastery and a deep understanding of musical context.

She teaches students from age 6 through young adulthood and beyond, tailoring each lesson to fit the individual’s learning style, interests, and goals. Her philosophy centers on the belief that every student is unique and talented, and with the right guidance and encouragement, is capable of achieving their fullest musical potential.

Inessa’s lessons nurture not only skill and discipline but also a lifelong love of music. Many of her students have gone on to perform, study music at advanced levels, or simply continue to play with passion and confidence.
